Dieses Buch sollte man sich kaufen, nachdem man das erste Rowohlt-Taschenbuch zum Thema PHP („PHP – Webseiten dynamisch programmieren“) durchgelesen hat. <\/p>\n

Ob es daran liegt, dass die Materie komplexer wird oder an der etwas n\u00fcchterneren Aufmachung: Mit diesem Buch bin ich nicht ganz so gut zurecht gekommen wie mit dem ersten PHP-Band und bilde mir auch ein, selbst als Nicht-Profi etliche Fehler entdeckt zu haben. Schon der Beginn ist f\u00fcr mich als Mac-Benutzer etwas hakelig: Nat\u00fcrlich muss man die SQL-Befehle selbst kennen, aber muss man sie auch immer \u00fcber die Konsole eingeben? F\u00fcr Windowsbenutzer mag das ja spannend sein, ich f\u00fcr meinen Teil begn\u00fcge mich mit phpmyadmin, und dort werden mir die entsprechenden Befehle ja auch angezeigt.<\/p>\n

Kleiner Einschub: \u00dcberhaupt finde ich eine Schw\u00e4che der meisten PHP und MySQL-B\u00fccher, dass auf dieses Programm zu wenig eingegangen wird. Jetzt habe ich entdeckt, dass es ein eigenes Buch nur daf\u00fcr gibt, und das erscheint mir nun auch wieder \u00fcbertrieben. <\/p>\n

Zur\u00fcck zum Rowohlt-Taschenbuch: Nach den SQL-Begriffen zum Erstellen und Bearbeiten von Tabellen gibts eine \u00dcbersicht \u00fcber relationale Datenbanken, dann gehts zur Sache mit Daten suchen, abfragen etc. Erst in Kapitel 11: PHP-Programme in HTML-Dateien einsetzen und danach schlie\u00dflich auch MySQL und PHP. Die Tatsache, dass hier im spannendsten Teil auch einige Fehler sind ern\u00fcchtert dann etwas.<\/p>\n

Dennoch scheinen mir die knappen 10 Euro gut angelegt, erst recht, wenn man noch das PHP-Taschenbuch aus dem gleichen Haus erworben hat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
