Ich habe ja hier schon mal erw\u00e4hnt, dass ich mir ein Netbook zugelegt habe (Samsung NC10-anyNet 10,2 Zoll, 1,6GHz, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Windows XP Home in wei\u00df<\/a>). Und wie immer will so ein ganz „nacktes“ Netbook ja erst einmal mit den wichtigsten Programmen beladen werden. M\u00f6glichst kostenlose und hilfreiche Software soll es sein, f\u00fcrs Schreiben, Surfen, Bilder verarbeiten.<\/p>\n

Voila, hier meine Favoriten: <\/p>\n

\"Firefox\"<\/p>\n

1. Firefox<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Muss man dazu was sagen? Nein! Das beste Programm, die besten Erweiterungen. Ein Standard. Die Frage des Netbooks, ob man den Firefox als Standardbrowser verwenden soll, sollte man auf alle F\u00e4lle mit Ja beantworten.
\nTipp: Mit F11 die obere Navigationsleiste ausblenden. Das Touchpad erlaubt per Fingerzeig das Zoomen in eine Website hinein ohne umst\u00e4ndliche Men\u00fc-Klickerei.
\nBei den Add-Ons ist mein Favorit der kostenlose Pearl Crescent Page Saver Basic 2.0, der Screenshots einer gesamten Webseite machen kann (nicht nur der sichtbare Bereich). <\/p>\n

\"Abiword\"
\n2. Abiword<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Gesucht war ein ganz, ganz kleines Textverarbeitungsprogramm, das kompatible Dokumente f\u00fcr Word erzeugt. Abiword war die richtige Wahl. Keim Mercedes unter den Textverarbeitern, eher ein Smart. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass der Klein-Computer sowieso nicht f\u00fcrs stundenlange Tippen gedacht ist, passt das. Auch hier: Mit F11 unn\u00f6tiges ausblenden.<\/p>\n

\"Irfanview\"<\/p>\n

3. Irfanview<\/strong><\/p>\n

Es muss nicht immer Photoshop sein. Aber ein bi\u00dfchen was muss man ja vielleicht auch unterwegs mal an einem Bild machen. Irfanview ist klein, smart und hilfreich. Due unz\u00e4hligen Plugins habe ich (noch) nicht ausprobiert. <\/p>\n

\"Zattoo\"<\/p>\n

4. Zattoo<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mein erster Versuch war, einen DVB-T-Stick einzust\u00f6pseln, um notfallm\u00e4\u00dfig aufs TV zur\u00fcckgreifen zu k\u00f6nnen. Notfallm\u00e4\u00dfig klappts. Wenig Sender, schlechter Empfang bei mir zuhause. Sp\u00e4testens die gro\u00dfe Zusatzantenne macht die Angelegenheit freudlos.
\nZattoo ist genial: Software installieren und es gibt eine sehr umfangreiche Senderliste, deren Angebote man empfangen kann. Anf\u00e4ngliche Skepsis, weil die meine Daten wollen. Aber das h\u00e4ngt auch damit zusammen, dass nicht jeder Sender in jedem Land zur Verf\u00fcgung steht. Und damit, dass das Angebot kostenlos ist…. Mein 10-Z\u00f6ller zeigt TV formatf\u00fcllend und ruckelfrei, besser, als ich erwartet h\u00e4tte. W\u00fcrde sogar f\u00fcr mehr als den absoluten Notfall reichen…<\/p>\n
